Trying to keep more than one little person busy can be hard. These are some places we recommend and the reasons why
Werribee ZooWith young twins, I would recommend you skip the bus trip if you're outnumbered and head straight to Ranger Kids :)
Seville Water PlayA distance from the road, not a huge area to risk loosing sight of them. No pools of water.
NGV Children's GalleryThe Children's Gallery usually has great exhibits for kids, it's an enclosed space so makes it easier to keep them in the same area. Great change facilities
ScienceworksWe love the Nitty Gritty City Upstairs (via lift) lots of exhibits to keep their busy minds active
Melbourne ZooSo much to do and see. Keeper Kids is a great space if you have to keep track of more than one- it's enclosed and loads of fun!
Packard St Playground, Keilor DownsA fenced playground with a few different play areas, a great option for outdoor play
Fire Display - SunshineA great morning out at the fire station. The kids will be captivated by the fire extinguishing and can play dress ups
Fairy ParkA beautiful morning of fun. A bit of a walk and can be difficult to push a double pram, so wear good shoes
Cliff Harvey Lagoon ReserveIt's distance from the road and really fun playground makes this a good option for outdoor play
Bulla Hill RailwayCan your little ones sit still for about 10 minutes? If so, then they will love spotting dinosaurs as you ride along on the miniature train. I recommend a 1:1 ratio of adults to kids
Ballarat Water PlayWith this water playground, they won't venture too far out of the play area and there is some distance to the road
Alice's Playspace, St AlbansA fenced playground, loads of colour and made for children of all abilities
Middle Park PlaygroundA fenced playground not too far from the city. We just loved this great space.
