We drove to Gisborne on a beautiful winters day. It is a lovely drive through some country terrain.

We visited the beautiful 3 Little Pigs Café on Aitkens St. It was definitely set up for the kids to enjoy with a little play area. I really enjoyed my breakfast and hubby enjoyed the first time he was able to read through the paper uninterrupted while the kids kept them selves busy drawing pictures on the blackboard.

A few doors down from the Café we came across a gorgeous little Gift Shop called Myths & Legends. If you are local to the area it’s a great place to hold a party with their cute little rooms. Mr 3 loved hoping on the toad stools and exploring the magic of the space. There is also a cute little outdoor garden. The Gisborne Adventure Playground with its fenced toddler area was a great space for a play and to stretch those legs after the road trip.
