Having celebrated it's 10th Birthday in October 2014, the Ian Potter Childrens Garden within the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne is a spectacular picnic spot and place to explore for families. Amongst the features of the Children's Garden is:

The Rill- great for a little splash 10-4

The Spiral Fountains - fun water play from 10-4 on days over 25 degrees

Mali the Elephant in the Bamboo forrest

The kitchen garden, complete with scarecrow
