Fun 4 Kids Festival
2 years ago we attended the Fun 4 Kids Festival and it will remain one of the best days that we've had as a family.
There is 2.5 acres of indoor fun for the kids, and this year, you can even see Jimmy Giggle!
With 2 stages, we have worked out the shows on the top of our list, including the Trolls and Paw Patrol live stage shows, Jimmy Giggle, The Mud Cakes, Lah Lah's Big Live Band and many more shows and performances.
You can see the festival line up here: http://www.fun4kids.com.au/performers
But the highlights for us have always been in exploring the MANY areas of the festival, including the kids kitchen, the farm yard, super box world (my favourite!) and the Animation Station.
You can see all of the areas you can explore here: http://www.fun4kids.com.au/zones-workshops
Now you might be thinking.... Warrnambool! That's 3 hours from Melbourne, is it really worth the trip? And to that I would say
1. Yes, because the festival is enough, but if it wasn't there is also so much you can do in the area
2. It is currently whale breeding season, and despite it being quite early, 2 beautiful enormous whale calves have been born and been spotted swimming around at Logan's Beach Whale Nursery (sightings can be hit and miss) but what an experience
3. Lake Pertobe Playground is so much fun, definitely worth checking out while you are there.
4. To sweeten the deal, we are giving away a free 5 day family pass on our facebook page.
5 days!!!! Pass is valid for all 5 days of the festival, for 2 adults and 2 children OR 1 adult and 3 children.
