Melbourne Christmas Tree Farm

 

For me, Christmas officially starts when we pick up our tree. It is my favourite event of the year. Buying a fresh tree has always been our tradition since we moved into our house.

 

For the past 4 years we have got our tree from Melbourne Christmas Tree Farm (used to be Melton Christmas Tree Farm) They have trees tagged with prices in their fields and you can take out a saw and cut one down yourself. We love to go through the fields and wander through all of the trees to find the perfect one… but there are some trees that are cut daily and that’s where we usually find ours ;) We usually buy a tree that’s 6-8 foot, price is determined by height and tree quality- we have spent from $70-$90 on each tree, but there are trees from 4-15 foot in height and starting at $40.

 

The Farm is open from 8am-8pm every day
