I ventured to Frankston Beach for some one-on-one time with Mr Almost 3. We started off with a quick lunch at Waves on the Beach, the views were beautiful and although the restaurant wasn't particuarly kid-friendly, their kids menu and incredibly friendly and attentive staff really made for a beautiful start to our afternoon. 

 

We loved the white sandy beach, the clear water and the nearby Frankston Regional Waterfront Playground. It was lovely to walk along the beautiful pier. There was a lot of paid parking in the area, but I am sure that it gets very busy in the warmer months.
