We love to spend a summer day at Eastern Beach in Geelong. About an hour from Melbourne CBD, Eastern Beach is worth a drive. With their fenced outdoor swimming pool, its great for the little ones to splash around. If you find yourselves in the area without your swimmers you could always just head to the playground, slides and swings and so much to climb on. You're bound to find an ice cream truck on a sunny day, and it's a lovely place to go for a walk, the paths are perfect for prams, bikes and scooters. The cafe by the kids pool is great for milkshakes and you won't be short of options when looking for a meal, we like to sit in the outside seating at Edge restaurant, where there is more room for prams and a great big grassy area to enjoy.
