Coburg Lake Reserve

 

I have some wonderful memories of heading to this park for a picnic dinner before watching a movie at the nearby Coburg Drive – In. Coburg Lake covers such a large area and there are a few playgrounds. We parked on Lake Grove, off Gaffney St.
 

The Coburg Lake Reserve Playground is a large playground with a few climbing structures suitable for kids of all ages. I took the boys to the playground on my own which meant I was outnumbered. Normally this is ok, but due to the close proximity of the playground to the water and no fence between it meant that I spent quite a bit of time separating Mr 2 from the ducks that he is so fond of. I definitely got my exercise. We all had a great time. The playground itself has:
