Chelsea Beach is 35 minutes from the CBD. It has white sandy beaches, a surf life saving club and parking can be found locally, but you will likely have to pay if you aren't local to the area. The biggest draw card for us was the nearby Victory Park on Camp St which has toilets and is a wonderful playground suitable for all ages. The BBQ facilities also make it a great option if you're looking for an ourdoor area for a party or get together, but it can get very busy during the warmer months.
