The Carlton Gardens are home to the Melbourne Museum, IMAX, the Royal Exhibition Building a great playgound and of course beautiful gardens that are the home of the annual Melbourne Flower & Garden Show.

- if you have a Museums Victoria Membership you can get discounted parking

- Melbourne Museum has loads to keep kids of all ages entertained, we love the Dinosaur Walk

- burn some energy at the playgrounds

- autumn if my favourite time to visit when the leaves are changing colour

- there are toilets at the museum
