Here is another park that has been tried, tested and approved for huge families! We have arranged many wonderful family gatherings at Brimbank Park, and their recent playground upgrade is a very welcome addition. Brimbank park is huge, there are so many riding/walking paths, play areas, BBQ areas and shelters. There are 3 different car parks and picnic areas, each picnic area has a toilet:

      Car Park A

This is where you would park if you would like to go to the Playscape. There is a great BBQ area, you will also find the café and information centre in this area.

      The playscape includes:

      Swings

      Sand Pit

      Sporting Field

      BBQ Facilities

      Sheltered Area

      Drinking Fountain

      Toilets

      Car Park B

The nearest picnic are to Car Park B has a large open area which is great for playing a game of cricket or soccer (byo goals) there is a small playground and a shelter with BBQ facilities

      Car Park C

The picnic area near Car Park C is usually very quiet and secluded. As such, it seems to be the first one that is reserved on a beautiful park day for parties. If you plan to use any of the spaces for a party, they do not permit bookings for less than 100 people and therefore it is on a first in best dressed basis. So you’ll need to get there early if it’s looking to be a nice day.
