Blue Hills Berry Picking

 

Located in the Yarra Ranges, we visited the Blue Hills Berry Farm after a morning at the beautiful Seville Water Playground. It was a short drive away and Mr 2 really loves his berries so we thought that it would be a fun family adventure.

 

The berry season runs from November – April each year. At Blue Hills 2 locations  you can pick strawberries or cherries. We thought that strawberries would be the easier one for the boys. And we were right. It turns out that it may have been slightly more challenging for us though- trying to control Mr 2’s picking technique which went something like ‘one for me, one for me, one for me’ and repeat! It was $13 per adult which included a 500g punnet of strawberries and $5 per child over 3 with 250g of berries to take home.

 

We had a wonderful time and definitely look forward to returning again next time we are in the area.There is a cafe on the premises, but we didn't get a chance to check it out :(
